About the position:

The Director of Communications will lead the global and external communications strategy and implementation for Prilenia. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with other key executives, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communications programs including investors relation to elevate the company’s brand across key stakeholders. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic communication IR and PR plans in close coordination with Prilenia’s COO and CEO and other key executives

  • Manage and develop Prilenia’s corporate reputation including driving follower growth and broadening exposure to our story

  • Create, plan, and execute a comprehensive investor relations program to effectively deliver corporate messages in order to achieve strategic goals

  • Manage Prilenia’s investor outreach strategy and IR calendar, including coordination of roadshows and interactions with investors, bankers and analysts

  • Develop materials to support external communications and key messages including press releases, social media content, Q&A documents, etc.

  • Manage Prilenia’s PR agency and other consultants, as needed, to deliver against the communications objectives

  • Day-to-day management of the corporate website including analytics and providing strategies and tactics for ongoing improvement

  • Lead development of communications materials for patient advocacy initiatives

  • Support Prilenia’s pre-commercialization and marketing, market access and brand awareness activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred. Preference for degrees in business, marketing, public relations, public policy, pre-medicine, or public health

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in corporate communications and investor relations including at least 3 years in biotech/pharma

  • Preferred: Experience in Neurology, specifically Huntington’s disease and ALS and/or other rare diseases 

  • Strong track record of positive relations with the investor community and developing an investor relations strategy

  • Outstanding writing skills – demonstrated capability to write press releases, crafting corporate messaging and social media content

  • Ability to both be an integral part of a team and autonomous and embrace a passionate and creative environment

Location/Time/travel:

  • This is a full-time remote position in the East Coast US

  • Flexible schedule with frequent calls across Israel, North America and Europe time zones
