Director Scientific Programs

About the position:

Reporting to the Head of Research, Prilenias is looking for a Director of Scientific Programs to join scientific team to manage scientific initiatives and projects. This is a multi-faceted position that will manage our scientific affairs (collaborations, publications, conferences), provide scientific and project management support on key company IP and support various other scientific touchpoints including regulatory, clinical and communications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for writing and submitting scientific manuscripts (led internally by Prilenia and in
    collaboration with KOLs)

  • Responsible for company presentations in global conferences of interest

  • Identify, manage and submit grant applications for non-dilutive fundings (scientific nonclinical and clinical projects)

  • Manage intellectual property scientific inputs and writing

  • Manage scientific collaborations around new moa studies and life cycle management (new indications)

  • Support scientific writing for internal documents and regulatory submissions

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D in related science (preferred); or M.Sc in related science with commensurate experience

  • In-depth experience in neuroscience

  • At least 3 years working in the biotech/pharma industry; ideally in a senior research role or prior experience as life science venture capital analyst with in-depth neuroscience due diligence experience 

  • Outstanding writing skills including writing and being awarded grant applications and published manuscripts

  • Exceptional in translating scientific information to a variety of different stakeholders/audiences 

  • Strong project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail & history of meeting timelines
