Head of Commercial Operations & Analytics

Position Summary

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced commercial operations & analytics leader to build Prilenia’s commercial ops strategy, data infrastructure and systems, manage data flows and report metrics to the organization. As part of this role, you will collaborate with a team of highly experienced industry experts with a track record of success, lead market research and competitive intelligence that shapes key decisions and be the market insight expert for a first product launch.
This position will report to the Vice President, Head of Commercial.

Primary Responsibilities (may vary)

  • Provide commercial operations and analytics leadership that shapes the foundation of the business.

  • Build and operate commercial data management systems, including CDE, MDM, CRM, field reporting, field incentive compensation, promotional review and business analytics.

  • Work cross-functionally, considering the needs of the various commercialization, and operational teams in the U.S. and EU to select and deploy appropriate hardware, technology platforms and software/apps that maximize commercial effectiveness.

  • Develop commercial dashboard, data analytics and reporting capabilities that provide marketplace insights for Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Finance and other management. 

  • Own and communicate the demand forecast to support the company’s different stakeholders, including Commercial, Manufacturing and Finance.

  • Design, execute and analyze market research in collaboration with Marketing. Develop and communicate competitive intelligence.

  • Ensure commercial compliance operating procedures, and corresponding fulfillment of local, state and national regulations.

Key Qualifications

  • At least Bachelor’s degree with minimum 8 years of biopharma commercial operations experience

  • Comprehensive understanding of, and experience building and integrating, the end-to-end data flows across Sales, Market Access and Patient Support 

  • Extensive technical ability and experience leading CDE/CRM systems, and implementing and managing tools like Salesforce, Veeva, Tableau and Qlik

  • Strong understanding of U.S. federal data reporting requirements

  • Experience with administration of sales incentive compensation programs

  • Experience quantitatively and qualitatively analyzing sales, market access, patient support and marketing data


  • Strong understanding of a wide range of secondary data sources and technical data tracking systems

  • Ability to synthesize complex information and identify key insights

  • Excellent project management ability

  • Track record of effective collaboration with IT and commercial functions

  • High attention to detail, diligence and reliability

  • Ability to communicate data via clear visuals

  • Superior modeling and analytical capabilities using multiple platforms

  • Vendor management experience

  • This is a full-time remote position in the East Coast U.S. (ideally Boston area)

  • Flexible schedule with frequent calls across Israel, North America and Europe time zones

  • Up to 20% travel expected, including international
