Senior Manager, Business Development

About the Role


We are seeking a Business Development Manager to support Prilenia’s partnering and planning activities. The successful candidate will project manage the overall business development process.  The candidate will also conduct supportive research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making, generate materials to support external communications and support potential partnership agreements.


This is an exciting role for a highly qualified and motivated individual who would like to gain exposure and involvement across the whole BD cycle. The successful candidate will combine a scientific background with a broad business perspective. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in business development, strategy, or top-tier consulting in biotech.


  • Project manage Prilenia’s overall business development process, including overseeing and tracking of engagement with potential partners, and providing status reports of interactions to internal stakeholders

  • Conduct supportive research and analysis to support BD decisions and interactions with key external stakeholders (e.g., board, existing/prospective BD partners, investors)

  • Facilitate and contribute to potential partnering due diligence. Manage due diligence process and dataroom

  • Build slides/business cases for senior management summarizing key relevant information to enable decision making

  • Assist in preparing and regularly updating presentations and materials for potential investors and partners

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field

  • 2+ years of experience in BD, business strategy, R&D operations, project management in biotech or at a leading consulting firm

  • MBA or advanced degree in a scientific or business field preferred

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • High energy and a passion for developing important new medicines for patients with devastating diseases


  • This role is full-time remote position in the Boston area

  • Flexible schedule with frequent calls across Israel, North America and Europe time zones

  • Some occasional travel expected
