Vice President, U.S. Sales

Position Summary

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced sales leader. As the Vice President of U.S. Sales, you will use your vision, experience and energy to build and lead the sales strategy, systems and team, preparing for launch of a first-in-class medicine that could change the story for people and families living with devastating rare neurologic diseases.

You will collaborate with a team of highly experienced industry experts and help to create and sustain a mindset focused on, not just promoting a product, but partnering with the treatment community to solve problems and maximize patient benefit.

This position will report to the Vice President, Head of Commercial.

Primary Responsibilities (may vary)

  • Craft the vision for U.S. Sales.

  • Develop in-depth understanding of customers.

  • Design the sales strategy, including territory alignment, operating protocols, incentive compensation program, targeting and call plan, sales training, etc.

  • Design the sales organization and, at the appropriate time, recruit and hire regional directors and sales team.

  • Provide smart, genuine, inspiring leadership to the Field sales team.

  • Engage and work with physicians and other customers, as appropriate.\

  • Identify market insights, problem solve and develop Field tactics to maximize performance.

  • Drive strategy to achieve and surpass sales goals.

  • Ensure fulfillment of company, local, state and national regulations.

  • Plan and manage U.S. Sales budget and spend.

Key Qualifications

  • At least Bachelor’s degree with minimum 12 years of biopharma sales experience, including Field force leadership

  • Biopharma start-up and product launch experience

  • Neurology and rare disease sales experience

  • Demonstrated success in building and leading a Field team, and in creating awareness and driving adoption of new therapeutics

  • Strategic thinker and hands-on doer

  • Desire to help foster a team culture that values respect, authenticity and transparency

  • Strong, positive can-do attitude

  • Genuine, trusted and respected leader of people

  • Excellent project management ability

  • High attention to detail, diligence and reliabilit

Nice to Have

  • Experience in other commercial functions

  • EU experience

  • Advanced degree in a relevant disciplin


  • This is a full-time remote position in the East Coast U.S. (ideally Boston area)

  • Flexible schedule with frequent calls across Israel, North America and Europe time zones

  • Up to 30% travel expected, including internationa
